Head NORTH over the Golden Gate Bridge on HIGHWAY 101. At about 75 miles, take the DRY CREEK ROAD Exit. Turn LEFT onto DRY CREEK ROAD, heading back under HIGHWAY 101. After 4+ miles, turn LEFT onto LAMBERT ROAD. DRY CREEK VINEYARD will be on your RIGHT.

Founded in 1972, David Stare's DRY CREEK VINEYARD was the first new winery built in Sonoma County after Prohibition. Best known for Fumé Blanc, Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Chardonnay.

Turn RIGHT, back onto LAMBERT. Turn RIGHT onto DRY CREEK ROAD. At LYTTON SPRINGS ROAD, turn LEFT. Just before 101, turn LEFT onto FREDSON ROAD; LEFT again onto INDEPENDENCE LANE, part of which is now known as SOUVERAIN ROAD. CHATEAU SOUVERAIN will be ahead, on your LEFT. You are now on the Western edge of Alexander Valley!
Sample Zinfandel, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc, and Merlot, grown on Alexander Valley, Russian River, and Dry Creek Valley vines.

Now, take INDEPENDENCE LANE/SOUVERAIN ROAD to HIGHWAY 101. Travel NORTH 6-7 miles to the CANYON ROAD Exit and the northern cluster of Dry Creek vineyards. Take the first RIGHT, onto CHIANTI ROAD. GEYSER PEAK WINERY will be on your LEFT, 2 miles up the road.

Turn RIGHT back onto CANYON ROAD, drive a mile, and turn RIGHT onto DRY CREEK ROAD. Within a mile, turn RIGHT onto LAMBERT BRIDGE ROAD, then RIGHT again onto WEST DRY CREEK ROAD. PRESTON VINEYARDS will be on your RIGHT, within a mile.
