Syroco Corkscrews

Some Syrocos depict just the head of a figure, with the spiral (with or without a Walker bell) descending from the "neck". Others portray entire human figures, such as a Monk, a Clown, an Indian, a Waiter, or a Knight. These whole figures came in two parts - a bust, with spiral, and then a "body" the bust fits on. Typically, the corkscrew part of a "whole figure" Syroco includes a Walker Bell.

Syroco corkscrews were either stained in natural wood finish or artfully hand painted.

Two Syroco dogs. The larger, with the Walker Bell, is listed in the Syroco catalogue as "Police Dog"; the smaller dog is a Bulldog. These are both complete, as they were neither manufactured nor sold with a body.
