The Forge de Laguiole Stabilized Rosewood Picnic Knife handle has a beautiful cross grain and stunning appearance, and is resin-impregnated, creating a seal impervious to air, water, and the like. The blade and spiral fold into the handle for carrying in your pocket.
Features: Brass Bolsters, with stylized "foot" shape; filework Bee; filework pattern along the spine. 4-turn spiral; and the "Shepherd's Cross" pattern of small brass rivets on the handle. A Shepherd tending his flock in the hills would be able to put this Laguiole blade in the ground and have a small Cross for his prayers and meditation.
