Lassalle, Champagne Saber Sword

Champagne Saber
In Napoleon's time, victorious calvary officers would separate the cork and lip of the champagne bottle with a sliding blow from their sabre. Continuing this centuries-old tradition, Claude Dozorme has designed the luxurious Lassalle Champagne Sabre, which features blue pearl grip, silver hilt and blue decorative sword-knot. Length of Sabre is 19 1/2 inches. Comes with wooden Display Stand, with "Claude Dozorme" plate.
NOTE: Champagne sabers are not battle or field weapons; they do not have a sharp edge; they do not cut or slice. This Champagne saber has a blunted edge, for separating off the cork and lip of the champagne bottle. For professional use only. MADE IN THIERS, FRANCE.
