Animal Corkscrews
|
| It's an easy shot, and corkscrew makers never fail to make it - take any animal and make the tail a corkscrew! What animals have done duty in this way? So far, monkeys, cats, pigs, giraffes, cows, donkeys, and dogs - LOTS of dogs, from Airedales and other terriers, to German Shepherds, Bulldogs, and Scotties, etc. The birds include chrome parrots, various wooden birds, and Scandinavian doves and roosters in pewter. And the Water World? There's swordfish, trout, salmon, and whales (or is that seaslugs?), to name just a few. |

| Two Syroco dogs. The larger, with the Walker Bell, is listed in the Syroco catalogue as "Police Dog"; the smaller dog is a Bulldog. These are both complete, as they were neither manufactured nor sold with a body.

A dear little bird, perched on some seaside pilings. This little chirper, though, has a bottle opener for a tail. And what looks like a single stilt of a leg is actually the worm coming UP out of his wooden perch!
